aham chetana (Devanagari: अहं चेतना ISO15919: ahaṁ cetanā) means the false ego.

It is also called dehabhiman (Devanagari: देहाभिमान ISO15919: dehābhimāna) means false pride generated since the jiva considers itself to be a material body.
