advaita | अद्वैत

Advait vaad (Devanagari: अद्वैतवाद​ ISO15919: advaita vāda​ ) is the philosophy of non-dualism.

It is an eternal doctrine mentioned in the Vedas.

According to this doctrine there is only one entity - Brahm -The Supreme God . This is right since the other two entities are jiva and Maya ; they are powers of Brahm -The Supreme God .

Jagadguru Shankaracharya is main propagator of this philosophy. His philosophy is called advaita-vedant .
