abhyasa (Devanagari: अभ्यास ISO15919: abhyāsa) means practise or a concerted and persistent effort to change an old habit or develop a new one.

Shri Krishna revealed to Arjun the two-fold method to train the monkey mind - abhayas (of focusing on God) and vairagya.
