Abhanapadak avarana

Maya covers the jeev with three veils. Abhanapadak avarana (Devanagari: आभानापादक आवरण ISO15919: ābhānāpādaka āvaraṇa) is the second of the three veils.

In sat yug, treta yug, dwapar yug a practical jnani, who practiced spiritual discipline for thousands of lifetimes, could transcend it. After transcending this veil the gyani becomes jivanmukt jnani.
