Shri Krishna gave His 18 akshohani (Devanagari: अक्षोहणी ISO15919: akṣōhaṇī) army to Duryodhan.

That army had 4,800,000 soldiers fully equipped with weapons. This was the composition of that army

• 400,000 chariots each with 1 charioteer and a warrior
• 400,000 elephants each with 1 mahout and a warrior
• 1,200,000 horses with a warrior each
• 2,000,000 foot soldiers
